CMI Coached Sessions at DBMS Indoor Rowing Tank

Open to Youth and Adult Rowers

Sundays 9-11am |$30 by 1 hr session | Max 32 seats

Dates: November 30 | December 7 | December 14 | January 11 • More dates added in 2026

A unique experience as we utilize the DBMS Indoor Rowing Tank. These are one-off sessions held Sunday mornings where you can feel the water beneath your oar without worrying about the wind or tide. One of our many experienced coaches will be there lead warm-ups and instruct technique on and off the water. This opportunity is open to youth and adult rowers with at least one season of rowing experience.

Sign up for ANY time, but be aware that they have different focuses.

All Arrive 9am:

9:00am Tank priority for Sculling. Arrive 9am for tank session, then erg session follows at 9:30am.
9:30am Tank priority Experienced Adult Sweep Rowing. Arrive 9am for erg session, then tank follows at 9:30am.

All Arrive 10am:
10:00am Tank priority for Novice, Row Forward, Improve your stroke. Arrive 10:00am for tank session, then erg session at 10:30am.
10:30am Tank priority Youth Rowing. Arrive 10am for erg session, then tank session at 10:30am.

Based on the experience of each group, we balance technique work, drills, fitness, and 'just row'!

Duxbury Bay Maritime School (DBMS) is a nonprofit organization that serves as a welcoming gateway to Duxbury Bay.

DBMS offers a range of educational and recreational programs for both youth and adults, including rowing, sailing, paddlesports, power boating, marine science and fishing, and other maritime adventures. They also host educational speaker series, community gatherings, and private events.
