This is a one-off class requiring pre-registration! Karen's popular interval class is an endurance-focused workoutsdesigned for experienced rowers. Each class combines powerful rowing intervals with strength, mobility, and stretching work —on and off the erg— to build muscle, boost cardio, and refine your form. Suzanne Pinto joined a record-breaking crew for the 2600-mile Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race. Rowing Home, her new memoir out now chronicles the voyage. The trials begin before the actual race does and grow to epic proportions along the way. Massive waves, broken equipment, ruined food supplies, and grueling interpersonal conflict all add up to the ordeal of a lifetime.

Harborside Bash- Success!

Cohasset Maritime Institute celebrated bringing coastal rowing and harbor access to South Shore residents and proudly honored Coach John Liffmann, a key figure whose leadership has been foundational to our growth and success. In addition, with the generous help of CMI members, families, and friends not only did we enjoy wonderful food and music, we reached our event goal!

Just over four Nautical Miles, conditions can range from placid to intimidating, with mixed/unpredictable swells, shifting/high winds, and fog. Experienced crews in safe, traditional rowing craft are strongly encouraged.
