CMI is launching Row Forward, a specialized rowing program for individuals affected by cancer.
Row Forward is the South Shore’s first coastal rowing program of its kind. Our ladder-up program ensures a supportive experience for all.
Our step-by-step program includes:
▪ Indoor erg training
▪ Stationary rowing in water tanks
▪ Learn-to-row orientation for technique and safety
▪ On-the-water rowing in crews of four
Eligibility: Designed for adult cancer survivors new to rowing or returning after a break.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
To participate all rowers will read and sign our waiver and accept our safety policy as part of their registration. In addition we ask every rower to review the US Rowing Safety video. It's a staple for most rowing clubs as it covers important knowledge for on the water, on the land, weather indicators, and how to respond in an emergency.
